Bikes styles include upright, spin, recumbent and road bikes (on a resistance wheel). Cycleverse pedals mounted on any bike will detect the speed, direction and force applied to the pedals.
Where bikes vary for gaming is how easy it is to trigger actions through the pedals.
Upright bikes and spin bikes place the rider over the pedals making it easier to input force actions such as braking and skidding. But it can be a little more difficult to tap the pedals since those pedals are also carrying your weight.
Recumbent bikes have the biker pressing horizontally to the pedals, without the pedals carrying the bikers weight. This makes actions like tapping easier but force actions like braking and skidding can take longer to detect.
In either case, having a bike with a direct drive to the fly wheel, meaning the pedals turn with the flywheel not independent of it, will make inputting force actions (braking/skidding) take a little longer since the pedals are rotating as pressure is applied. Users with bikes with independent gears will find force inputs faster since they can stop the pedals rotating immediately, while applying force to the pedals.
