What types of bikes does it work with?
Cycleverse works with most exercise bikes (spin/studio, upright, recumbent) and road bikes with standard pedals. It is compatible with any bike using the common 9/16” pedal threads.
Pedal threads
Cycleverse pedals use the ISO standard 9/16” x 20 TPI, which fits the vast majority of adult bikes.
Which operating systems are supported?
The Cycleverse app is available on iOS and Android and can be downloaded from the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
Do I need a special phone/tablet/TV setup?
No. You can play directly on your phone or tablet. Connecting to a TV (via USB-C/HDMI cable or wireless casting) creates a much more immersive big-screen experience. Adapters that allow charging while playing are also available.
Is it offline or online only?
Both. All core games work fully offline. Online play (racing against others, seasonal events, leaderboards) is optional and requires a seasonal pass. Your pedals include one full year of online access so you can try competitive play risk-free.
What games are available at launch?
Racing, Challenges, Training, and Arcade games will be available at launch. We are also working toward adding Story Missions as a stretch goal.
Can I play with friends/family?
Yes — both locally on the same device and online with friends or in open events.
How are the pedals connected?
Via Bluetooth — just like wireless earbuds. Turn on Bluetooth, open the game, and select your pedals. They will automatically reconnect next time you’re nearby.
Battery life
Up to 40 hours of play per charge. The pedals feature automatic sleep/wake modes. A full recharge takes about 1 hour using the included magnetic charging cable.
Durability
Built tough: tool-grade steel axles, three sets of bearings, carbon-fiber infused plastic, and aircraft-grade aluminum. Independently tested for riders up to 300 lbs / 136 kg (the standard limit on most exercise bikes) and Bluetooth certified.
When is the Kickstarter launching?
We are preparing to launch as soon as our waitlist is strong enough. Join the waitlist to get notified on the exact date.
How much will the pedals cost?
Exact pricing and shipping estimates will be revealed on Kickstarter launch day. Waitlist members receive priority access to the 30% off Early Bird deal (Day 1 only) and earlier shipping.
Warranty
We offer a 2-year limited warranty on the Cycleverse pedals. This covers manufacturing defects and is in addition to your statutory consumer rights in your country.
